Introduction
When we say God is the triune God, we are saying something about who God is beyond, before, and after the universe: that there is community within God. Our experience of this is reflected in Paul’s words today. When we pray to God as Jesus prayed to his Abba (an everyday, intimate parental address), the Spirit prays within us, creating between us and God the same relationship Jesus has with the one who sent him.

Join us on June 9th immediately following worship in the sanctuary for a Congregational Visioning Meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to dream dreams and brain storm together new ways of "doing church" in the community and current social environment to ensure the health and well-being of LCOP into the future. Please click on the pink link for more information and specific details regarding the meeting.
Many of you are familiar with our ongoing partnership with Rez House over the years to provide, food, clothing and support for their feeding ministry, children's and daycare programs. Margarita. has been the driving force behind Rez House and the farm workers selfhelp. She has served the community with selfless love and care. The Lutheran Synod will finally be ordaining Margarita on Saturday June 15th in Wesley Chapel. Several of us plan to attend and celebrate this milestone with her and her community. If anyone would like to go and show our support for Margarita please contact Linda Lund so we can get a count into Rez house for planning purposes and arrange travel. I would be remiss if I did not point out that Margarita is now 85 and finally receiving the recognition of her answering God's call. She is a phenomenal role model of living with complete faith in God. Let's give her our full support and help her celebrate a very special moment in her life.
Yhank you. Linda
