Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

The ELCA is a community of faith that shares a passion for making positive changes in the world. Our faith is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ. Through worship, service, and education, we practice our faith, grow our relationship with God and experience God's grace in our lives.

With nearly 10,500 congregations across the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and over four million members—we welcome you to experience this church right in your community. Explore the ELCA, and help us celebrate our gift of faith. (text courtesy of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)

Florida Bahamas Synod

The Florida-Bahamas Synod is one of 65 synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The territory of the synod includes the entire State of Florida and all of the Islands of the Bahamas. The 206 Congregations of the synod are grouped into three Mission Districts (North, Southwest, Southeast) which are served by three Assists to the Bishop. To facilitate additional community ministry, the congregations in each Mission District are also organized into smaller clusters called Conferences. There are 15 Conferences in the Florida-Bahamas Synod. (text courtesy of Florida-Bahamas Synod)
